Ready to make Skool work for you? Here’s a straightforward checklist to guide you to success, designed specifically for anyone who hasn't made their first dollar on Skool yet. Just follow each step, and watch the results unfold.

How to Use This Checklist: Each ☐ represents an action. To complete the checklist, copy this Google Doc  for yourself and check off each box as you go. No skipping steps!

The Skool platform is all about growing a paid group. By attracting people to join, you can make $10,000/month (or more). The goal is simple: help people find your group and make it valuable so they want to stay.

Each month, Skool hosts “The Skool Games,” with a leaderboard based on New Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR). The top 10 on this leaderboard win a day with Hormozi in Vegas. Since New MRR resets monthly, each month brings new chances to win.

Pro Tip: If you bring in 3 paid members, you’ll unlock recordings from past winners and gain insider tips.

2. Make It Fun ☐ Watch the “Make It Fun” video or read below
Approach Skool like a game! The most successful entrepreneurs enjoy the process. Connect with others in the community to enhance your experience. ☐ Post a comment or make an introductory post in the community.

3. Design Your Business ☐ Watch “Designing Your Business” video or read below
Define who your group is for. It doesn’t need to be complicated; pick a group with a shared interest or goal. Aim to create the group you wish existed.

You don’t need to be an expert; find others who share your goals and learn together.

Decide whether your group will start as free or paid. Remember, you can always switch later.

☐ Make the choice and move forward.
☐ Create a welcome post explaining the purpose of the group and how it will add value.

Aim to start with at least three engaged members. The smaller the niche, the more connected your community will feel.

☐ Reach out to friends, contacts, and followers who might be interested and invite them to join.

There are several ways to earn money on Skool:

• Keep the group free forever.

• Start free, then switch to paid.

• Maintain both free and paid groups.

• Start with a paid group.

☐ Pick a pricing structure that reflects the value you’re offering.
☐ Set a group price (most charge $19-$299/month) and aim for a revenue target.

6. Grow Your Group ☐ Watch “Growing Your Group” video or read below
To bring attention to your group, you have several options: warm outreach, cold outreach, paid ads, free content, influencer partnerships, and referrals. Warm outreach is the best starting point.
